I've been going through some changes in RL lately and there will be more changes soon. Don't worry, most changes are for the better and I'm really happy about what's about to come. But unfortunately it will have major impacts on my freetime. That's why I have to announce my upcoming hiatus from drawing that will begin in March. I will be way less active on my social media channels. I will probably be back after a month, but I can't tell ;)

So, with that being said. See you again soon :)

Seems like I've been "unscouted" for some reason. Do all artists have to be rescouted after the new submission update? Or is it just because my stuff ain't good enough anymore for Newgrounds? If the last thing is true: Thanks for taking a beat on my confidence as an artist, I guess xD

Hey there everyone,

I hope you all got well into 2023 and made it through without hangover or other party related side effects. I dunno about you but I'm really glad 2022 is over. For everyones benefit, I will skip the long review and summarize it quick and dirty. 2022 was messy, frustrating and really stressful but it was also a good time to grow and to improve. I've learned a lot and pushed myself to all kinds of new limits. So right now I'm in a good position to reorganize and to sort things out. In this journal I wanna talk about how I wanna start the new year and what will change.

I've reached my goals for this project in 2022 and I'm very happy about it. However I feel like I've done a lot of fan service mostly because I got a bit more confident in drawing bodies and characters. Currently I have no big project planned for Celestia or Jade. But they will appear in 2023 in my gallery, don't worry.

I've drawn many smaller and some bigger pictures last year and I got a lot of attention for most of them. However, I became to notice that quantity is better to reach more people, because it increased my chance to be seen just due to the number of pieces I've submitted.

I always have an eye on numbers, so I can't deny that it is important to me to also be visible. I can say that I've been quite successful that way. But to be honest, it was also very frustrating to see that there was nearly no difference in how well or bad a piece was received considering the amount of effort I've put into it.

I know that many of my watchers like my current story, the OC's but also my backgrounds. And I'm happy for all of you! Seriously. I wouldn't have gone as far as I would be today, without you! But I got a bit distracted by numbers and attention sometimes and I actually want to change that.

That's why I will reduce my output this year and instead focus on single pieces that will get most of my attention. An example would be an artwork I've done in November that took me more time than other pieces.

Many of my art buddies and friends told me that I've improved in the last two years and I can agree with them. But still, I think that I have a lot of issues when it comes to draw characters proportions and perspective. I've not been able to focus on that purely for the sake of learning something. And I wanna change that. I will make more time to actually learn certain drawing techniques and how to draw certain things such as expressions, perpective and better bodies. I think that not all final pieces will make their way in my DA art gallery but I will put them in my Discord channel and on Twitter. So if you are keen on following me there, hop on over.

I have neglected streaming on my public accounts completely even if I've streamed alot in 2022. But it was mostly on my Discord server with a hand full of people. It was fun but I also think that it might be worth it to switch to my public streaming account again. Since I've been drawing some nsfw content, I prefer Picarto. I will probably do multistreams with Momo-the-Bunny who is already pretty active there and @pawcanada who seems to be quite interested in this as well. I will announce regular streaming times once I've been able to set this all up ^^.

I will still offer other artists Trades and take Commissions. But I will not focus on that as much as I did in 2022. I'm happy for all the new friends I've made last year but I got a bit lost in so many projects. That's why I will limit them to a few pieces a month. For that I will proper announcements as well.

I will not use AI programs or "tools" because I'm simply not interested in it.

I've put a lot of thoughts into my plans this year but still I guess there are many things that will probably come up once I reached to a certain point. However, my main goals for 2023 can be summarized as followed.

• Improving in drawing better characters
• Drawing fewer but bigger and more complex art pieces
• Scheduled Streaming times

Hey everyone,

since the year 2021 has been (finally) burried, I wanted give you a short outlook on what will come this year. For that I will give you an overview about all things I have in mind for 2022.

I’ve put some thoughts into how I will proceed with the project this year. Last year was dedicated to the project Celestia’s Journey and since I really started loving the story and the characters, I will continue in 2022. To be honest, I wasn't aware that my OCs would be so well recieved. And even if I didn't came as far as I wanted to be right now, it turned out better than I could've imagined before. That's why I’ve worked out a short plan which I will stick to for this year. I will go in a slightly different direction. My comic didn’t do very well and I think that I will not continue this in the future. My problem with it was that the pacing was way too slow for how fast the story continued in my head. That’s why I thought about writing down parts of the story and draw illustrations along the way. It will be some sort of illustrated story, if you will. With that I will be able to pin down major events with a combination of scenery drawings with my characters and also have the chance to add smaller sidestories here and there. It will be similar to what I did last year, but with a consistent throughline. I also plan to do character sheets, and profiles about the main characters to fill this up some of the gaps and give a better overview. I think that this will fill out most of my drawing time I've dedicated to the story and I hope you like the ideas so far :-)

Some of my activities shifted to my Discord-Server where I will mostly put my stuff about Celestia's Journey from now on. But don't worry. There won't be any changes here on NewGrounds. Most of the drawings will be submitted here as well. But I noticed that it is much easier to announce and discuss things in a small group on discord. So if you want to join or just look at some other peoples great art, just swing by. I want that everyone there is having a good time and benefits from an active and creative community. So yea my Discord won't be only about my project but more about artists and fellows who are interested in art as a whole.

Last year was quite a blast. I've met a lot of great artists and fun people to stay around with. I've done quite a few Art Trades and I'm thrilled to do more of them. I also plan to reach out to other artists but mainly to my fellows to do some great collabs and trades together. I think that this will be a nice thing also to either feature other people I respect and whoreship but also to get in contact with people who might also be interested in my stuff as well :3

Aside from all the ideas I have this year will be quite stressful for me but I noticed that it doesn't make sense to turn down my whole personal life just to work, eat and sleep. So I will always make some time to draw. Things might be a bit less frequently, but I will continue drawing for sure :)

Hello everyone!

I wanted to announce that this year I will be focussing on one project just to test, how far it will get me. The idea is to set my focus on SciFi including SpaceArt and a comic about my character Celestia. I'm not sure whether I will submit the comic here on NG as well but I will upload my better illustrations and story-related drawings for sure.

To all my new followers here on NG, thanks for your support and your feedback! I'm still quite small here but I plan to continue my contribution here in 2021. Time is running fast and I'm quite busy with RL stuff atm. That's why I will be less active in the next following weeks until x-mas. I'm currently working on one bigger project I wanna finish but beside that I might just make smaller stuff, I will just submit on DeviantArt.

Therefore I wish all my followers a nice winter season and hopefully a nice xmas. See you all back in 2021!

I'm working on several projects and commissions atm. I will try to make them also visible here on NG (if that is wanted). I'm not sure atm whether it's worth the effort to throw all the information here which can also be seen elsewhere on DA. Maybe you let me know whether you guys/gals wanna see them or not ^^. Or maybe I wait for a few more followers :P
