You've drawn one of my personal favorite anime characters! She came out quite nicely especially when it comes to the coloration. It blends in quite good with the background and the color scheme.

Looks pretty nice, especially with the glowy effect. Could be an icon for a superweapon in one those oldschool JRPGs. Personally I'm pretty bad at doing pixelart because one need to be able to boil down certain details to a degree in which it's mostly hinted but also visible. But you managed it quite well with this one ^^ Maybe you should do a small collection of weapons? Might be interesting for game developers doing RPGs.
And yes, people do read descriptions :D
